Double Vision Exhibition – Yuman Ng & Wich Chau

Double Vision exhibition showcases the artistic collision that occurred during a short stay in Nagano, Japan by the artist Wich Chau and a visit by artist Yuman Ng, resulting in a set of double definitions for the meaning of life through imagination, feelings, and reflection.

Wich Chau, An emerging Hong Kong artist, Wich started painting in 2018, focusing on oil painting. Metaphorical symbols, surrealism and sci-fi elements are components found in his work. Wich often reflects on life, the world around him and philosophical thoughts through a unique perspective and lighting, inviting viewers to enter his mysterious yet realistic world.

Yuman Ng, Yuman Ng was born in Hong Kong. His practice includes oil painting and installation. He was shortlisted for the 2009 Hong Kong Art Biennale Exhibition. His work draws on fundamental themes of life, being, paradox and secular through combining emotional colours and abstract lines that were transformed from Chinese and English words.
